    Position Summary

    Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Clerk plays a vital role in the seamless operation of our organizational supply chain. This position is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments, ensuring that the goods received match the corresponding documentation. The Warehouse Clerk meticulously inspects items for quality and completeness, communicates effectively with internal teams and external suppliers, and maintains precise records in the inventory management system,

    Position Responsibilities

    Receiving and Inspection:

    o Receive incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of the contents against shipment documents.

    o Inspect deliveries for damages and discrepancies, reporting any issues to the appropriate parties.

    Order Processing:

    o Retrieve, review, and process customer orders to ensure accurate picking and packing.

    o Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritize and schedule our shipments.

    Packing and Labeling:

    o Prepare and pack items for shipment in accordance with established guidelines.

    o Ensure proper labeling and documentation for each outgoing package.

    Quality Assurance:

    o Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that received products meet quality standards.

    o Report any quality issues to the appropriate departments and assist in the resolution process.

    Communication:

    o Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams regarding any shipment issues or discrepancies.

    o Collaborate with purchasing and warehouse teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues with received goods.

    Data Entry and Documentation:

    o Accurately enter received items into the inventory management system.

    o Accurately complete all required documentation, such as receiving reports, materials movement logs, and inventory records.

    o Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other related metrics as requested.

    Inventory Management:

    o Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.

    o Monitor stock levels, identify low inventory situations, and initiate replenishment processes as necessary.

    o Utilize inventory management systems or software to track materials and ensure adequate supply availability.

    Cleanliness and Organization:

    o Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that materials and equipment are properly stored, and waste is disposed.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements

    High school diploma or equivalent: additional technical or vocational training in materials management or logistics is a plus.

    Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to materials handling.

    Compliance with health and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

    1 to 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Clerk or similar role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

    Strong understanding of materials handling principles, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

    Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.

    Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, with appropriate certifications if required.

    Familiarity with inventory management systems or software for accurate tracking and record-keeping.

    Basic computer skills for data entry, report generation, and communication

    Physical stamina and ability to perform manual lifting, bending, and moving heavy objects.

    Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and departments.
