For over 45 forty-five years, our organization has provided mental health and holistic services in northern Manhattan for families, children, adolescents, and other adults including the elderly in a supportive and caring environment.

We also have an out-patient and residential substance abuse program as well as a Therapeutic Preschool for 3-5 year olds.

Upper Manhattan Mental Health Center is a Certified National Health Service Corps (NHSC) site.

JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title:
Senior ControllerEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees and directs budgeting, purchasing, and cash management for the organization. Evaluates the organization's financial position on financial stability & liquidity. Assures implementation of internal controls and generally accepted accounting procedures.

Oversees and directs the finance department (AR, Billing, Payroll, Grants & accounting) Supervises the analysis of costs and makes rate recommendations to ensure appropriate income/cash flow.

Manage all financial audit activities Supervise the finance department day-to-day transactionsFinancial Management Present all financial reports, including monthly and annual statements Prepare all financial, program and grants accounting.

Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, prepare all analysis Clearly present all financial matters to the Executive Director and the Board of DirectorsEducation and/or

Work Experience Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, required- 10 years of experience in financial/accounting management.
