    A Structural Engineer is sought by Atlas Structures in Austin, TX to join our team.

    This role involves designing and overseeing the design and analysis of building systems for residential construction.

    The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

    Key responsibilities include analyzing building designs, proposing new ideas for wall systems and roof assemblies, conducting on-site visits, and collaborating with architects and construction teams.

    Compensation

    $90,000 yearly salary, plus participation in an equity pool.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze building designs and specifications to assess strength and durability.
    • Propose new ideas for wall systems and roof assemblies to improve the construction process.
    • Conduct occasional on-site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications.
    • Collaborate with architects and construction teams to develop cost-effective and innovative structural solutions.
    • Perform complex calculations to determine load-bearing capacity and design structural components accordingly.
    • Review and approve construction documents to ensure regulatory standards and safety requirements are met.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering.
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
    • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
    • Proficiency with CAD software and construction drawings.
    • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
