- Collaborate with other staff engineers and partners across the organization to ensure technical understanding to other systems, products, and vision.
- 7+ years full-stack experience. We're a multi-platform team, so it's important to understand the development frameworks and fundamentals of our web platform (React, TypeScript) and backend (Python and a little bit of Rust).
- Mobile experience on Android and iOS (React Native, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift)
- Experience leading large projects from inception to launch.
- Solid understanding of the craft of software development and ability to level up those around you.

Description
Discord is looking for a technical, creative, motivated and mission-focused Staff Engineer to help scale our technology and premium products. You will work with teams across the Premium Products organization such as Engineering, Product, Data Science, Design, Marketing, and Customer Success to build fun, creative, and premium ways for users to express themselves while talking and hanging out on Discord.
Our mission is to empower our users to express themselves authentically through emoji, stickers, and other creative media ecosystems that exist on our platform. You will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager of Nitro Expression.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is ($214,000) to (252,000) + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level.
