Job Summary

The Imaging Care Technician is responsible for direct patient care under the direction of a technologist/radiologist. The role involves preparing exam rooms, assisting with patient transfers and discharge, and performing various tasks related to imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam room for arrival
  • Orient patient/family to waiting and changing areas
  • Prepare patient for exam
  • Verify patient name, date of birth and medical record number and exam to be performed
  • Gather data for post procedure check such as peripheral pulses vital signs presence of hematoma circulation checks etc.
