    We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to spearhead our credit card consumer acquisition initiatives.

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine marketing techniques, particularly within the financial services sector.

    They will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEM strategies to drive targeted traffic and maximize conversions for our credit card products.

    Responsibilities

    Develop and execute strategic SEM plans to drive credit card consumer acquisition, with a key focus on paid search channels.

    Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value opportunities for targeting credit card consumers.
    Manage and optimize paid search campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google, Bing) to ensure maximum ROI and cost-effectiveness.

    Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS), to identify areas for optimization and improvement.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, and Analytics, to align SEM initiatives with overall business objectives and marketing strategies.

    Proactively identify landing page optimization opportunities and advocate for improvements where needed.

    Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEM and apply this knowledge to enhance campaign performance and competitiveness.

    Requirements

    7+ years of experience in SEM with a proven track record of success in developing and executing SEM strategies, preferably within the credit cards space.

    In-depth knowledge of search engine marketing platforms and tools, including Google, Bing, Google Analytics, and SEMrush.
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
    Previous P&L management experience is preferred, but not required.
    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

    The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 USD to $170,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

    The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units.

    This position is eligible to participate in the12 Company's standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
