Veterinary Technician – Triage Nurse

We are looking to add to our growing hospital and are in search of Veterinary Nurses (vet tech) to support our Emergency Department as a Triage Nurse.

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in veterinary medicine as a Nurse is required.

The schedule we are hiring for is Sunday - Wednesday 6am - 4pm

*Your skills & experience and how you'll utilize them to help our patients :
Broad knowledge of basic small animal medicine (pharmacology, proper restraint/handling, venipuncture, laboratory testing)
Sound understanding and knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and disease processes
Provide medical care to patients arriving at the emergency room by using sound technical skills
Prioritize care based on critical nature and severity of patient's condition
Support the treatment floor and emergency service by performing a variety of nursing tasks as assigned
Proficient computer skills
Midshift, overnight and weekend schedules eligible for shift differential
