Role Description

This is a part-time role for a Public Relations Manager at Liquified Agency. As Liquified's Public Relations Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and supporting PR announcements and initiatives on behalf of the agency, as well as our various client accounts. This role will report to the Director of Marketing.

The ideal candidate is a creative, quick-thinking individual, who can independently solve challenges and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll quickly build relationships and collaboration with cross functional teams, as well as with peers across communications and marketing. The role is based out of our Sarasota office.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and execute key PR launches, determining media strategy, coordinating agency support, and collaborating with other agency departments, clients, and external vendors and media contacts
Support strategy behind the development of key PR narratives and assets, including blog posts, bylines, announcements, among other items.
Identify integrated PR strategies and opportunities to include print, digital, podcasts, and broadcast, along with thought leadership and speaking opportunities.
Project manage client accounts as assigned
Engage in client facing communications as needed
Support various foundational team duties, such as compiling reports for clients, updating company metrics, monitoring press alias, and more
Assist in training junior level team members on various PR support efforts

Qualifications

2-3 years of PR experience, leading PR campaigns and working cross functionally. In-house and/or agency experience preferred.
Must have the ability to work independently, identifying opportunities that can be turned into actionable items
Demonstrated writing skills with the ability to turn complex ideas into compelling stories
Strong project and agency management skills, with proven ability to think strategically, creatively solve problems, and manage multiple projects at once
Demonstrated history of using data and insights to power thought leadership and media conversations
Familiarity with media monitor software and/or PRM
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
