- Licensure or certifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare financial management
- Master's degree or CPA
- Operational experience as a Director in a health system
- Research proficiency in coding, reimbursement, and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of clinical settings and CDM
- Understanding of CPT/HCPCS, revenue coding, and health care financing
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities
- Analytical skills for payor contracts and net revenue modeling
- Oversight of Charge Description Master functions and reimbursement analysis
- Coordination of Charge-master management and regulatory billing compliance
- Collaboration with departments for accurate Charge-master maintenance
- Monitoring compliance with guidelines and cost reporting to CMS
- Preparation and filing of Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports
- Monitoring changes in Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Providing management for fiscal audits and Indigent Care Trust Fund processes
