    The Ames High School coaching staff is looking for an Assistant Softball Coach for the track season.

    Work Schedule:
    During the season, the work schedule will be 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. M-F. Various nights and weekends are also required for games.


    Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

    • Assists Head Coach in running a competitive softball program.
    • Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
    • Abides by strict confidentiality at all times.
    • Attends work on a consistent and punctual basis.
    • Creates a sense of belonging and welcoming environment for all athletes, parents, and staff.
    • Onsite work required.
    • Assists with other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications:
    A current Department of Education Coaching Authorization.

    Experience coaching high school softball.


    Compensation:
    $3,763 season stipend
