They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets.Responsibilities:Shape a powerful portfolio for connectivity inside devicesDevelop and execute strategic product roadmaps aligning with overall business objectivesDrive cross-functional project teams in the development of next generation productsServe as a subject matter expert for connectivity inside devicesDriver of the internal product strategies for product lines in the Inside the Device Connectivity portfolio Developer of market strategy and Product Business Plan (PBP)Active participation and coordination of global production capacities for the product portfolioResponsible for revenue forecast and profitability of the product line – owns the P&LInitiator of improvement measures in order to continuously optimize the margin of the product lineActive management of the product life cycle and closing of portfolio gapsBusiness partner in cross-functional project teams for the new development of productsSupport selling activities including on-site customer visits with Sales Team and promotion initiatives with Marketing TeamResponsible for the pricing strategy and definition of the new product introduction in cooperation with adjacent departments (Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering)What your background should look like:Bachelor's or Master's degree in (electrical) engineering or similarMinimum 7 years proven track record in product management or product strategyAdvanced technical knowledge of electrical connectivity technologies – specifically inside deviceStrong leadership skills with a results-oriented approach to achieve business objectivesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into actionable product strategiesStrategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and drive innovation in a competitive marketElectronics industry (i.e. automotive, consumer, etc.) experience is highly preferredExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsCuriosity as well as high flexibility and agility in assessing, planning and executing Strong Collaboration skills to work in a matrix organizationCompetenciesValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, TeamworkCOMPENSATION

    • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $146,240 – $219,360 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
    • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
