About This Role
Love sports, technology and rocket ship trajectories? PrizePicks is looking to hire a Motion Designer (Freelance) to join our Creative Team & execute a range of animated assets across many areas of the business.
This role will be responsible for helping raise the bar on PrizePicks' video and motion graphic assets. As Motion Designer (Freelance), you will be responsible for taking design files from static execution to animation
Responsibilities Include
● Execute motion graphics for PrizePicks digital assets
● Partner with Design Leads and ECD to animate storyboards based off static creative for
digital and social platforms
● Stay current on marketing trends, best practices, and emerging tech
● Ensuring brand guidelines are met and maintained, presenting a consistent and
coherent brand image to customers
● Build graphic templates and animated graphics for video use (transitions, stingers, and
other animated elements)
● Edit and export in various aspect ratios and video formats / codecs, primarily (but not
limited to) social media platforms, in-venue stadium signage, and landing pages
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
● Minimum 2+ years of professional graphic design experience preferred
● Online portfolio of work
● Strong communication and collaboration skills
● Strong interest in sports design and Esports
● An expert working knowledge of After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator
● Cinema 4D experience a plus
● Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to working
● Proven experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
● Experience creating HTML5 Ads a PLUS
