- Responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices in all duties and responsibilities of this position. Further, when issues are observed with food safety, food safety policies/procedures/documentation or product quality, this individual is responsible to report observations to their immediate Supervisor, Quality Assurance Manager and/or the Food Safety Specialist.
- Communicates effectively with other operators to coordinate activities between shifts
- Provide necessary support to other operational areas to ensure the highest possible operational efficiency throughout the plant
- Understands and complies with attendance policy, attends work consistently and on time.
- Report and record any product loss from dryer areas
- Interact with other operators and areas to seek solutions
- Understands organization goals, production goals and key performance goals and how each job can affect these goals and measures
- Monitor areas for proper operation by performing specified equipment tests and inspections at required intervals
- Analyzes and resolve work problems, or assists workers in solving a work problem.
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, production, product safety and quality of product.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- six months to one year related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
