    Job Description

    As an HR Coordinator with Hemisphere, you will be primarily focused on recruitment of salaried managers and supporting General Management teams with their hourly-staffing needs. In this role you will also assist in coordinating new hire onboarding, employee training, and Human Resources department initiatives.

    Primary Responsibilities
    • Facilitate the recruiting process for salaried managers including posting jobs across multiple platforms, scheduling interviews, screening candidates, and sending offers.
    • Work closely with the Operations Management team to determine upcoming staffing needs and hiring strategies.
    • Assist Hiring Managers with their hourly-employee applicant flow while managing monthly recruiting budgets for the jobs.
    • Manage, analyze, and report on both hiring metrics and placement success monthly to the HR Director.
    • Assist in facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, including organizing orientation sessions, ensuring they have the onboarding materials they need, and completion of new employee paperwork.
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on recent legal changes affecting HR.
    • Coordinate logistics for training sessions and meetings including arranging facilities and technology. Track participation and feedback.
    • Help communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations to staff and management.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • 2 or more years in a relevant Human Resources position
    • Previous experience in the service/ restaurant industry
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to handle data and information with the highest degree of confidentiality
    • SHRM Certification preferred

    $50,000 - $60,00 base with bonus incentive
