Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our IT team.In this role you will be responsible for the installation configuration and maintenance of our mainframe vendor-provided system software ensuring optimal performance reliability.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Extensive experience with mainframe storage administration including familiarity with DS8000 TS7700 hardware VTS DFSMS HSM OAM CSM GKLM software
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues ensuring minimal downtime Monitor system performance conduct capacity planning Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development deployment Develop maintain documentation related to system configurations procedures Provide technical guidance mentorship to junior staff Stay current with emerging technologies industry trends related to mainframe systems
