    Summary:

    ValidaTek is searching for a Junior Human Resources Business partner who will support the HR needs of several of our business operations. Reporting to the Sr. HR Manager, the Business Partner will function as a trusted advisor and business partner, providing guidance on human resources operational issues and employment law. This role will assist with the development new programs and initiatives to meet management and employee needs.

    Responsibilities:

    The Junior HR Business Partner will:

    • Advise managers and leadership on matters concerning employee moral and retention, performance improvement, coaching, counseling, and compliance.
    • Identify and clarify employee problems, evaluate potential solutions, and guide managers and employees on methods and approaches to resolve issues.
    • Collect, compile, and analyze HR metrics and data from varying sources including HRIS, employee surveys, and other sources. Analysis will be used to compile reports of data results and present to senior leadership and stakeholders.
    • Using metrics and analysis, make recommendations for policies and activities to improve organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, motivate and retain employees, address staffing issues, and maintain legal compliance.
    • Provide support on various strategic and operational HR projects including system upgrades, conversions, implementation of new solutions, patches, and interface changes.
    • Ensure organizational compliance with HR company policies as well as federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    Qualifications:

    To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:

    • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, most of which should be in a government contracting environment.
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of best HR practices and employment law. The best candidates will have their PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
    • Experience with process improvement and design and implementation of new HR programs and practices.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • All candidates must have a bachelors degree in a related field or a combination of equivalent experience and training.
