    PrideStaff is working with an Industrial Manufacturer in Charlotte, NC who is seeking a skilled Cabinet Install Associate Level II. The Install Associate is responsible for installing standard commercial cabinetry and millwork products in accordance with either architectural and/or shop drawing plans. Work is performed in an efficient and effective manner resulting in a finished installed product that meets quality, scheduling, and budgetary expectations set forth by the customer.

    Location; Charlotte, NC 28216
    Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM
    Pay Rate: $21-$24/hr.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Install Experience- Hand-on experience installing standard commercial cabinetry and millwork products such as, but not limited to, base cabinets, upper cabinets, wall cabinets, fillers/scribes, toe kicks, and countertops, etc., straight-run crown, floor base, shoe mold, and simple architectural trim elements, etc.
    • Tools- Possesses the tools and equipment to perform standard installation work.
    • Install Drawings- The ability to read and understand architectural plans and/or shop drawings in terms of organizing an approach to accomplish a successful installation project.
    • Problem Solving- Anticipates and solves typical installation issues with little or no supervision.
    • Independent Work- Can successfully work independently with little or no supervision.
    • Track Record- Recognized by peers, supervisors, and managers as having a proven history over a sustained period of consistently meeting Install Associate Level II performance expectations.

    • The physical strength required for the job can be described as "Medium Work to Heavy Work".
    • The employee must occasionally lift, carry, pull, push, or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.
    • The employee is primarily required to stand throughout the workday as well as periodically crouch, kneel, and stoop. On occasion work must be performed entirely overhead.
    • The employee is required to reach and grasp with their hands and arms and use their fingers to handle or feel objects or tools. Work at times may include repetitive motions.
    • The job is typically performed indoors in controlled environmental conditions. On occasion, work is performed in non-controlled environments including outdoors exposed to elements.
    • The employee is regularly required to hear and understand verbal directions and be able to talk and communicate in preferably the English language.
    • The employee is required to have an acceptable level of vision including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
    • The employee is required to work with noise levels that are typically low to moderate but on occasion may be loud enough to require noise canceling ear plugs or headphones.
