    As the HR Manager you will be the initial point of contact for employees and supervisors regarding employee policy, benefits, coaching and training.

    These duties are not all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned at any given time based on business needs.


    • Prepare and approve consistent compensation and benefits packages – from a strategic perspective
    • Approve all new job titles
    • Prepare and negotiate employment offers
    • Coordinate bi-weekly new hire orientations
    • Administer health and life insurance and benefit programs, including open enrollment
    • Implement training and development plans
    • Plan and coordinate annual performance reviews. Monitor and enforce timely completion
    • Track, monitor and enforce 30/60/90 day evaluations
    • Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
    • Maintain organizational charts
    • Forecast hiring needs based on input from department heads
    • Manage the recruiting function, including the recruiting coordinator
    • Continuously improve the hiring pipeline via relationships with CTC's and other strategic hiring sources
    • Develop and maintain job descriptions for all positions in the company
    • Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
    • Maintain the company handbook/policy manual
    • Assist supervisors with coaching and employee performance plans
    • Process employees' queries regarding policy, benefits and other HR topics
    • Handle employee HR concerns
    • Handle BWC and SUI claims including TPA relationship
    • Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labor legislation
    • Pursue government training and employment support programs, i.e. tech cred
    • Lead the Training/Apprenticeship Committee – drive the company training program, including, but not limited to: technical, communication, leadership development
    • Complete and summarize annual employee survey
    • Coordinate biometric screening program
    • Drive the annual "Hidden Paycheck" program
    • Drive and monitor prevailing wage and apprenticeship compensation programs
    • Utilize Paylocity or similar HRIS to it maximum potential for the complete employee lifecycle. Support new employee onboarding process – systemically and team support
    • Manage DFWP and drug testing programs. Update as required.
    • Effectively handle sensitive/confidential employee information
    Requirements

    Qualifications include:

    • 2+ years as a HR Manager
    • Experience driving HR strategy in a similar organization
    • Associate's or bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but not required
    • Strong work ethic
    • Well organized and a self-starter
    • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
    • Proficient in technology
    • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
    • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timelines
