    Join Our Emergency Department Team

    We are recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team in the Emergency Department at PeaceHealth Peace Harbor. As a Critical Access Level III Trauma Center, we provide high-quality care to our community on the beautiful Oregon coast.

    Job Summary

    Our ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and be comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency environment. The selected Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with our Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians, RNs, and ED Techs to provide comprehensive care to our patients.


    Responsibilities

    • Assess patients' medical conditions and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
    • Order diagnostic tests and medications as needed, and interpret lab results to inform treatment decisions.
    • Provide direct patient care, including triage, evaluation, and management of acute illnesses and injuries.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you must:

    • Hold a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
    • Be certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Oregon.
    • Have experience working in an emergency or urgent care setting.
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
