    Job Summary: The Logistics Associate is responsible for meeting Operations delivery and kitting requirements. Job duties include receiving, storing, handling, shipping, inventorying, and preparing products for customer delivery while demonstrating and promoting safe behaviors and processes. This requires working independently, with a specific direction, or as a member of a team.

    The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

    Essential Functions

    • Models and promotes alignment with HOLT's Vision, Values, and Mission
    • Adheres to guidelines and procedures to load, unload, store, and disburse inventory material to assist in satisfying customer requirements and achieving manufacturing goals
    • Ensures parts and finished product by locating and staging for shipment
    • Transports material in the area or between areas utilizing carts, tuggers, cart caddies, forklifts, and other devices
    • Receives inbound materials by verifying part numbers, quantities, weights, etc. while completing required documentation (findings/issues, checks, etc.)
    • Performs initial quality checks to ensure the condition of materials are meeting specifications upon arrival to the facility (ex: freight, packing, supplier quality, etc.)
    • Assists with inventory control through the stock organization, maintenance of inventory (checks), and issuance of parts by following processes and documentation requirements
    • Maintains and defines kitting processes and best practices for operations and external customers
    • Observes and adheres to all safety aspects/policies/training/call outs at all times and requires reporting of all near misses and incidents
    • Performs with warehouse management of parts, tools, kits, material including cribs, plate yard, various storage locations
    • Develops and executes documentation for outbound shipments - parts, product, customer kits, product attached to customer equipment, etc.
    • Communicates job progress, issues, solutions, and improvements to the team
    • Completes assigned jobs and tasks to minimize variance to operational jobs or projects
    • Performs performance of equipment and work/storage areas through regular checks and maintenance processes (Operator Performed Maintenance - OPM)
    • Communicates variances to established processes
    • Works overtime as required by workload and customers' needs
    • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Basic knowledge and proficiency with current computer software, and related hardware
    • Ability to operate a conventional forklift
    • Ability to quickly and repeatedly operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions
    • Ability to develop basic thinking and problem-solving skills to learn and understand the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to read, write, and understand information
    • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Minimum of two years of work-related experience preferred - warehouse, inventory control
    • Prior Material Tracking System (MTS) experience preferred

    Physical Requirements

    • A significant amount of time standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, stooping, climbing, and reaching
    • Constant movement and use of limbs, hands, this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
    • Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climbs up and down ladders and/or equipment
    • Must be able to precisely coordinate movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects
    • Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, a
