Vaco Boston seeks a motivated Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting advisory services department at a prominent regional public accounting firm.

Job duties:
Build and foster client relationships including managing expectations and meeting engagement deadlines

Perform preparation of complex individual, corporate, and partnership returns including multi-state and consolidated returns

Assist in designing tax planning strategies for clients

Oversee review tax returns completed by staff

Manage financial statement reviews and prepare compilations

Develop and mentor new hire staff


Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a public accounting firm

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Strong technical skills and research capabilities

Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects

CPA certification preferred, but not required

Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement and Document a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
