Duties & Responsibilities
Document receipt of Request for Quotation (RFQ)
Communicate with customers with questions and concerns of the RFQ or part print
Evaluate the RFQ for product fit at the company
Develop a tooling process or process' concept
Develop a firm quote per RFQ
Formalize quote and send to the customer
Document date of quote completion
Attend customer APQP meetings when requested
Complete any additional requests by customer
Transfer all quote process documents to president
Responsible for all sales activity at company and another company
Communicate with customers on questions and concerns of the RFQ or part print
Responsible for Sales meetings and reviews of all sales activity
Update the status of all open and active quotes in the company system
Attend Production Meetings when working out of the company sales office. Update team on sales activity
Guidance and training for Sales Engineers with problems and concerns
Review and approve quotations
Develop new products with customer Engineering Group, when requested
