Description
Job Description
Under the supervision of a Staff Nurse or authorized designee, assists with the care of the patient in the Operating Room by scrubbing or circulating for most types of surgery.
Requirements
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent who has completed an organized course of Operating Roominstruction recognized by St. Mary's Medical Center.
Certification:
Associate of Surgical Technologist (AST)
EXPERIENCE:
Previous Operating Room experience desirable.
SKILLS:
Manual dexterity. Must be extremely conscientious and have good physical and mental healthand stamina.
