• Title: Yard Laborer
• Compensation: $16.00
• Employment type: Full-Time – 40+ hours/week
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday 6:45 am - 3:30 pm
• Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Summary:
The position will be picking meatballs (copper windings) & cloth from a conveyor belt. They will also be doing general clean-up and yard maintenance including but not limited to digging, sweeping, shoveling. Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned. Must be familiar with and adhere to service requirements, equipment, and operator limitations, and safe operating procedures at all times. Performs other duties as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Industry experience in scrap preferred.
• Ability to work outside year-round.
• Must be safety-oriented and exhibit safe work habits.
• Punctual and reliable; good attendance required.
• Good communication skills.
• Team-player.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new skills; must be willing to cross-train on other equipment.
• Ability to adhere to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise.
• Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
• Basic math, reading, and writing English skills are required.

Work Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 6:45 am – 3:30 pm with a 40-hour workweek; overtime as necessary.
