    A civil engineering firm located in multiple locations is seeking a Water Resources Engineer for their Louisville team

    Responsibilities:
    • Key point of contact for clients, contractors and local government officials
    • Assist with review of project scope/proposals
    • Design/manage treatment, wastewater collection and water system conveyance facilities
    • Prepare grant applications and secure project funding for small to medium-sized systems
    • Design wastewater treatment facilities improvements to meet environmental regulations
    • Manage water, wastewater and reclaimed water supply through planning, modeling and permitting
    • Mentor/train junior staff

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
    • 8+ years of Civil Engineering experience
    • PE License
    • Design experience with a focus on water resources and/or environmental engineering
    • Knowledge of the preparation/review of Engineering Plans and Specifications
      Experience with hydrologic, hydraulic and groundwater software
    • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, XPSWMM, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and WaterCAD
    • Experience with HECRAS, HECHMS, PondPak, HY-8, and GeoPAK Drainage
    Salary is commensurate with experience.
