The Phlebotomy Support Technician is responsible for the collection and processing of blood and other specimens as directed. Performs proper specimen collection by confirming patient ID, collecting specimens in proper tubes, utilizing venipuncture/capillary techniques, and accurately labeling the specimens to ensure accurate patient results.- Certified as a Phlebotomy Technician or Medical Laboratory Assistant from a nationally recognized laboratory certifying agency
