    Description


    A Structural Project Engineer is required to join an award winning, multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy in Birmingham is actively seeking a Structural Project Engineer.

    This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level Structural Engineer to become part of a highly respected Engineering Consultancy that truly values their employees and their professional growth.

    The company is looking for a Structural Engineer who is eager to advance their career while working on a diverse array of building design projects across various sectors.

    Despite having a strong national presence, they are particularly recognised in the Midlands for their involvement in prestigious local projects.

    As a Structural Project Engineer your role / duties will include:

    The delivery of a wide variety of project types: Educational, sports facilities, regeneration or local areas, commercial and urban village projects etc.

    The development of early stage concept designs, reviewing and quality checking drawing information before it is issued
    Continuation of projects to detailed design stage
    Attendance to project meetings representing the Client during early design stage and construction stage
    Ideally applicants will have the following skills / abilities:
    Post graduate structural design experience which would ideally be approximately 3 years+
    Experience of delivering structural design works under minimal or even no supervision for someone more experienced
    A good grounding in structural design and good knowledge and understanding of buildings to draw upon; having already commenced your career and progressed within a Consultancy led environment
    Working knowledge of key design software and an understanding of how to implement model validation on these packages
