    The Warehouse / Instrument Repair Technician reports directly to the Service Manager and is responsible for performing all duties related to the warehouse and repair of products and systems sold within Monsen Engineering.

    This includes customer communications, estimating cost of repairs prior to servicing and training colleagues. The Warehouse person is accountable for daily supply receiving, shipping, and storage. The Instrument Repair Technician is accountable for delivering quality repairs on time at a profit. Customer satisfaction is the key component to success.

    This role serves warehouse and delivery of product and will be trained for a career in laser, optical, GPS and microcomputer repairs.


    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Manage consumables inventory minimum and maximum levels daily
    • Maintains close relationship and clear communication with Office Manager
    • Maintains strong customer relations and satisfaction; proactively and diligently works to ensure customer problems are resolved quickly
    • Dedicated to improving results
    • Proactively drives collection of information that aids in the development and improvement of products and services offerings
    • Monitor trends and procedures to assist in the effective management of daily operations
    • Reporting of technical feedback to Service Manager
    • Assist in the development, documentation and maintenance of service related processes

    Required Qualifications:

    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Able to set priorities appropriate for short and long-term objectives
    • Possesses integrity and good character
    • Strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Customer service related experience
    • Microsoft product knowledge
