- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents under supervision of registered nurse including initial ongoing assessments monitoring health status medication administration within licensure wound care treatment implementation Update follow care plans document accurately promptly communicate changes tcare team Support activities daily living assist mobility transfers promote safety infection control help maintain dignity independence quality life Collaborate physicians therapists social workers family members coordinate holistic participate quality improvement regulatory compliance Mentor support Certified Nursing Assistants new staff modeling best practices compassionate patient-centered carer
