    Description

    Overview

    Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute is seeking a Client Services Coordinator to support the Institute's Business Development operations.


    The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Business Development team in servicing Client accounts and will act as a liaison between Lovelace Biomedical and its Commercial Clients throughout the prospecting, award, and study closure stages.

    The position will be responsible for overseeing the life cycle of a scientific program with the Scientific Operations staff from start to finish driven by a clear understanding of both Client and CRO needs and expectations, and perform all other related duties and tasks as required or assigned.


    The Client Services Coordinator may also take on specific tasks such as marketing coordination or pricing which are early components in the Pre-Award phase of business.


    Qualifications


    Requires an associate's degree and 2+ years of directly related experience in a contract research organization operations setting; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained.


    Must have demonstrated experience building relationships with internal and externall clients as well as a demonstrated success rate in supporting the business needs/activities of a given organization.

    Must have an understanding of the preclinical research stage of drug development to properly support Investigational New Drug (IND) Enabling Programs of Lovelace Biomedical's Commercial Sponsors.


    Must have experience in Life Sciences and/or preclinical/clinical research. Must have an understanding of the drug development process and pharmaceutical / biotechnology marketplace, especially the needs/expectations for preclinical research and development


    Must have superior professional-level written and verbal communication skills; a high degree of professionalism, excellent judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

    Demonstrated ability in managing a wide variety of tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines is required. Must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

    Requires professional-level computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce and must have the ability to learn department-specific computer systems as needed.


    Physical Requirements

    Work is performed in an office environment.

    Will operate standard office equipment and will frequently stand, walk, sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, use a telephone, perform repetitive motions and occasionally lift objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
