Swing Shift Lead Welder - Johnson Creek, WI, United States - Doosan Bobcat

Description

Weld together metal components of products as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, weld procedures or oral instructions, using electric arc-welding equipment or spot welder.

Sets up electrode wire per procedure to prepare welding equipment for operation.
Cleans or degreases weld joint or work piece using power equipment as needed.
Use side grinder to clean up all grinding splatter and insuring quality surfaces near weld zone.
Keeps work area clean, orderly and maintain 5S schedule.
Required to accurately scan and record information in the Oracle inventory system.
Required to correctly identify and label parts for their specific area with correct quantity and location.
Perform quality checks as required.
Completes preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
Meet required production schedules while promoting safety, quality, teamwork, lean manufacturing, and sound environmental practices.
Ensure consistent application of Standard Work through audits and training.
Attend daily production, shift, LPMS, Morning Market and other meetings as required.
Complete all necessary area communications for subsequent production shifts.
Communicate & track customer emergencies (Hot Parts).
Work to perform root cause analysis and eliminate safety and quality concerns.
Perform daily 5S, quality, Safety and process audits to assure compliance with LPMS guidelines.
provide training/assign work shadow as required for new/current employees.
