- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students in resource classrooms.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure student success and progress.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth for all students.
- Valid North Carolina teaching license with special education endorsement.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a resource classroom setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
