We are currently working in a hybrid environment and are seeking to fill one full time Data Quality Analyst immediately in Boulder, CO, Boston MA

What you will do

Support our customers by answering complex energy market data questions
Become an expert at understanding relationships between various data sets, and trace complex data lineage questions
Innovate on alerting mechanisms to help identify recurring data issues
Foster productive communication & collaboration across several internal teams to resolve client issues faster and more efficiently
Facilitate internal knowledge sharing to improve client experience
Maintain data quality through monitoring, technology-driven processes (Oracle, Snowflake, REST APIs), and statistical analysis for data completeness, correctness, and freshness
Provide training sessions to both clients and internal stakeholders, teaching them how to navigate our data systems effectively

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred (Economics, Computer Science, Math, and Engineering are preferred), or equivalent experience
Experience in an energy markets role or equivalent industry
Strong analytical skills, proficiency in advanced spreadsheets, and programming experience (SQL preferred)
SQL experience (Oracle, Snowflake, Postgresql, MySQL)
Understanding of energy markets or a strong desire to learn
Interest in developing customer-facing skills
Familiarity with GIS, VBA, MatLab, or software testing

Bonus points for

Experience with data quality assurance tools or methodologies
Familiarity with energy market data sources and industry-specific datasets
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with Oracle databases
Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques

Position Details Full-time

Reports to the Product Owner of Data Operations
Minimal travel may be required (up to 10 days per year)

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range - $65,000 - $75,000
