Primary responsibilities for this Business Development Lead will include:
Passionately pursue, identify, quality and close business opportunities with new and existing customers.
Engage with various stakeholders in the assigned vertical to understand business needs and provide meaningful solutions.
Leverage Salesforce and other SaaS tools for lead generation and customer interaction.
Report weekly on sales activities, keeping the sales pipeline accurate and up to date.
Provide/gain support to/from colleagues across teams to achieve high customer satisfaction.
Document activity in a timely and accurate manner in CRM.
Attend company events related to sales and new business acquisition.
Assist in the review and development of technical and marketing collateral.
Travel to customer sites as needed.
We're actively seeking strong Business Development Leads with the following background profile:
Bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant field from an accredited university
3 years' experience in a sales or business development role as an electrical manufacturer providing equipment into the healthcare (Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Center, etc.) or critical infrastructure segments.
Must be experienced with Microsoft Office tools and CRM toolsSome knowledge of the electrical construction industry, electrical grounding principles and function and usage of basic low voltage electrical distribution equipment preferred
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
