Description
We are looking for anInternational Tax Manager
to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the company's international tax strategy, considering tax planning, compliance, and risk management. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Analyze and provide guidance on the tax implications of cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and intercompany transactions.
Manage transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and alignment with arm's length principles.
Oversee the preparation and review of international tax compliance, including tax returns, disclosures, and related documentation for various jurisdictions. Ensure accuracy and timely submission.
Identify opportunities to minimize international tax liabilities through legal and strategic planning.
Understand and comply with complex international tax regulations, including withholding taxes, VAT/GST, and other indirect taxes in various jurisdictions.
Maintain accurate and organized tax documentation and ensure compliance with global reporting requirements, including Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) and other relevant disclosures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8+ years of experience in international taxation, with a strong understanding of global tax laws and regulations.
In-depth knowledge of transfer pricing regulations, international tax treaties, and cross-border transactions.
Experience with tax compliance software and financial systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and external partners.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
