in Williston is seeking a Fleet Mechanic / Technician with proven experience repairing and maintaining light and medium trucks and passenger vehicles.

We have a fleet of over 100 cars and trucks. Duties will include all aspects of automotive repairs. Work will generally be in a newly constructed shop with a lift and pit.

Technical skills should include a practical knowledge of gas engines, transmissions, electrical systems, diesel technology, drive train systems, suspension systems, and braking systems.

Experience with fabrication, welding, and light body work is a plus. The desire to work on heavy trucks and equipment is also a plus. Applicant should have the ability to work unsupervised and should work well with others. Good problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and attention to detail are essential. The applicant should also be organized, neat, and professional.


Location:
Williston, VT with possible travel throughout New England and eastern NY

Rate of Pay:
$26 - $34 per hour. Overtime paid after 8 hours each day. No flat-rate.
