    Summary

    We are seeking a bilingual and completely fluent in Spanish and English, driven, detail-oriented legal assistant to join our growing team. Our firm has the pleasure of representing policyholders with respect to their underpaid or improperly denied property damage claims. The ideal candidate will be responsible for answering and directing calls, with room to assist attorneys and other staff in all stages of litigation, and handling some administrative tasks. Training will be provided, and all candidates are subject to a 90-day trial period. Compensation is competitive and is commensurate with experience.

    Responsibilities

    Answering inbound calls and screening them appropriately

    Coordinating telephone conferences, court hearings, depositions and mediations between the firm's attorneys, opposing counsel, the client(s), and the judge's assistants

    · Following and completing firm workflows in the case management system and meeting at least the minimum task requirement.

    · Drafting simple motions and notices (ex. Motions for Extension, Notice of Settlement, Notice of Hearing)

    · Following the firm's naming conventions when saving documents to the appropriate folder

    Assisting attorneys and staff with tasks to move cases forward

    Qualifications

    · Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English

    · Ability to work remotely AND in Orlando office located at 3191 Maguire Blvd., Ste 160, Orlando, FL 32803 in a hybrid capacity as necessary.

    · Proficient computer and writing skills
