Description
GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
A position is available for laboratory technician to be a part of the Alzheimer's disease (AD) research team.
The major goal of the lab is to study molecular mechanism(s) underlying Alzheimer's disease in order to help develop better biomarkers and treatments.
They will master the art of cell culture, protein analysis (Western blot, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry), RNA analysis (RT-qPCR, in situ hybridization) microscopy and image analysis, among others.
The incumbent is expected to work both independently and as a team member with investigators, staff, fellows, and students; and will report directly to Dr.
Alberto Serrano-Pozo, M.D. Ph.D.
