    Job Aire Group is a multi-technical aviation company specializing in Contract Labor, Aircraft and Engine inspection and audit, hard-core aeronautical engineering, and a leading provider of aviation maintenance and employment services.

    Locations:

    • Pensacola, FL | Mobile, AL | Everett, WA | Kansas City, MO - Non-licensed mechanics and licensed A&P
    • San Antonio, TX | Oklahoma City, OK - licensed A&P ONLY

    This is a DoD SkillBridge/Army Career Skills Program Internship opportunity. There is a high probability of a permanent offer at the end of the internship.

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs routine access / open ups / servicing, etc.
    • Performs lubrication.
    • Licensed to operate small tugs, forklifts, scissor lifts, and snorkel lifts.
    • Understands tagging, CB lockout procedures, and fuel cell entry procedures.
    • Component removal / installation with limited supervision.
    • Assist in basic rigging / adjustment tests.
    • Basic understanding of A/C fueling / servicing/ marshalling.
    • Become familiar with system operations / cockpit layout.
    • Understand hazards associated with flight control operations

    Physical Environment: Requires easy mobility around all sections of the facility and the dexterity to install various electrical, mechanical, plumbing systems. Must possess the ability to distinguish colors to perform work adequately. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and report to work regularly.

    Qualification:

    Minimum: 3 years experience in military or commercial aviation maintenance

    OR

    Commercial or military experience and an Airframe license (A&P) with min of 6 months experience (for Licensed roles)

    Working knowledge of the following skills:

    • Safety wiring, engine servicing, engine CSD servicing, tire inflation
    • A/C wash rack/cleaning procedures and lube procedures
    • Hydraulic pressurization/depressurization
    • Wingwalker/aircraft towing
    • A/C marshalling
    • Torque wrench values/operation
    • Basic safety procedures
    • Engine cowling opening
    • Nose Radome removal/install
    • Application of external power
    • Stairs/entry door operation
    • APU servicing cargo door operation
    • Fuel tank entry procedures
    • Operation of reader printers/IPC, electrical HOBART, HUFFER
    • General knowledge of all applicable F.A.R's
