Carleton-Willard Village is a retirement community located in Bedford, MA. Services include supportive care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and memory care all in a village-type setting. Our 72 acre sanctuary of pristine woods, meadows, walking paths and gardens is just north of Boston.

6:00am -2:30pm or 11:00am -7:30pm weekends required

Position Summary:
Assures the timely and efficient operations of the kitchen Tray line service and waitstaff service to the dining rooms

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures that steam tables are at the proper temperature prior to meal service; reports inadequate temperatures to chef immediatelyPrepares tray line menus and organizes them according to truck order prior to meal serviceOrganizes desserts, salads, and cold food for tray line as scheduledPrepares garnishes for all mealsAssists with and oversees tray line operation as scheduled, assuring that foods produced are of the highest quality and are served at the proper temperature and with regard to proper sanitary proceduresEnsures that meals served in the dining room are of the highest quality in terms of appearance, temperature, and garnish and that waitstaff delivery is timelyAdheres to proper sanitation practicesPerforms all other duties as assignedPay: $19 per hour (base pay) plus Weekend differential
