    Description

    Job Title: Controls Engineer

    Location: Aurora, IL

    Job Type and Duration: Direct hire

    Pay rate: $75,000 - $95,000 plus bonus

    SUMMARY

    This role involves designing and programming electrical controls for various machines, creating electrical schematics, bills of materials, and developing control programs. The primary focus will be on designing Allen Bradley and/or Siemens control systems, working closely with customers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design and develop electrical controls and software programs for equipment panels.
    • Monitor controls development progress on projects.
    • Maintain department's design standards.
    • Provide technical support during proposal development and to Field Service Engineers.
    • Uphold company's industry leadership in product performance and service.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in EE, EET, or computer science.
    • 1-2 years of controls programming experience with Allen Bradley PLC's.
    • 1+ years of systems design experience with Allen Bradley control panels.
    • Knowledge of industrial controls, Allen Bradley PLCs, Siemens PLCs, Ethernet Communications.
    • Experience in pneumatics and OEM environments.
    • Strong communication, math, and organization skills.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
    • Proven track record of achieving results across multiple projects.
