    Position Summary


    The Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) Therapist provides services for child/adolescent and his or her family that integrates community psychiatric supportive treatment (CPST) service or health home service, mental health assessment service, mental health crisis response, behavioral health counseling and therapy service, and social services with the goal of either preventing out-of-home placement or facilitating a successful transition back to home.

    Essential Responsibilities


    • Delivers Intensive Home-Based therapy services to individuals and families in their home and community settings.
    • Work in team-based model with IHBT Family worker with 8-12 caseload
    • Delivery of IHBT model with fidelity rating
    • Conducting Assessments, Develop Treatment Plans
    • Conduct therapeutic strategies and interventions providing families with skills and tools needed to promote stability within the family and system.
    • Prepare and coordinate crisis and safety plans with families to promote stability.
    • Work in collaboration with other professionals including schools, courts, and county agencies.
    Qualifications


    • Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.
    • Clearances. State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
