    Job Description

    In the role of Field Service Technician, you will install, repair, and maintain healthcare equipment as part of a team that ensures timely and efficient service delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshoot and repair client equipment to resolve technical issues promptly.
    • Install, configure, and test AV, electrical, and mechanical equipment for clients according to specifications.
    • Accurately complete daily timecards, document activities through notes and photos, manage expense reports, and other related tasks on a daily basis.
    • Maintain company and client property in good condition by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
    • Prominently utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Salesforce) to prepare documents and communicate with the team.
    • Demonstrate exceptional professional etiquette with colleagues, supervisors, and clients at all times.
    • Ensure strong oral and written communication skills are maintained throughout interactions.
    • Perform basic mathematical calculations to solve problems and escalate matters to leadership when necessary.
    • Read, interpret, and understand schedules accurately.
    • Engage in positive customer communication and maintain environmental awareness at all times.

    Requirements:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • At least 1 year of experience in field service with Electro-Mechanical devices is essential.
    • Proven experience working with Microsoft Office and PC device connections/network settings, including serial ports, USB connections, resource selection, and IP address settings, is necessary.
    • Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital equipment is required.
    • A background in electronics and computer science is preferred.
    • Familiarity with mechanical and hand tools, as well as service test equipment, is necessary.

    Travel outside your territory may be required occasionally to support fellow engineers and attend training sessions. Occasional overnight travel may also be necessary.

    Estimated salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour based on location and title.
