- Perform preventative maintenance and repair on assigned equipment and instrumentation
- Auxiliary Equipment to include: Conveyors; Automation; Blenders; Dryers; Tapers; Hot Runner Controllers; Thermarator's; other.
- Plant Utilities to include: Air Compressors; Granulators and associated equipment; Rail Unload System, and Vacuum system.
- Communicate with lead, supervisor and production personnel to ensure efficient operations
- Responsible for organization and housekeeping of plant utilities areas, the maintenance cage and the auxiliary equipment storage areas.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Must follow all safety procedures, which includes wearing required PPE.
- Job related experience with troubleshooting of one to three years or more.
- Able to read electrical, and pneumatic prints.
- Must become lift truck certified in reasonable amount of time.
- Must be able to communicate well with others both verbally and in writing
- Physically able to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to perform duties within small areas, as small as 2 ft x 2 ft.
- PLC experience preferred, but not required.
- Must successfully complete the Lock Out/ Tag Out training within reasonable amount of time.
