    If you are an organized, self-starter that enjoys varied job duties and multi-tasking, and have the ability to prioritize tasks while working independently – then this is the job for you Adava Care operates several assisted living homes in the Milwaukee area. Our homes support older adults, specializing in those with mental illness and impaired memory. We are seeking an experienced and organized Administrative Assistant to join our exciting growing team. This is a Part-Time remote (90% remote, 10% in office) position with varied hours (15-25/week) Monday - Friday.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Handling of accounts payable and accounts receivable, guaranteeing accuracy and timely payment
    • Produce marketing materials (brochures, flyers); including working with vendors to develop materials that appropriately represent Adava Care
    • Order office supplies and proactively maintain inventory levels
    • Preserve and organize electronic documentation of records
    • Support management on special projects as needed (event planning, apparel supply orders, employee appreciation)
    • Research and gather information on various companies, suppliers, or other venues as necessary
    • Various other administrative tasks as requested

    Ideal candidate will possess the following

    • Associate Degree or equivalent in related field, 2 or more years related experience
    • Experience in health care, assisted living or related fields a plus
    • Strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks to enhance productivity
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Excellent and efficient attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and anticipate needs
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as, overall adept computer skills
    • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
    • Positive and professional attitude, willingness to adapt and learn within the position
