THE POSITION
Have you ever had the opportunity to judge harness races? The Department of Agriculture is currently looking for an Associate Judge at Pocono Downs Racetrack.
This role involves interpreting and upholding the rules and regulations of the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission to maintain the integrity of the sport.

Your main responsibility in this position is to uphold the fairness of horse racing by interpreting and enforcing the rules and regulations set by the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission.
This involves maintaining important records such as the Judges Books, the Steward's List, accident reports, and daily reports to the Commission.
Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and posting notices of penalties, rulings, and decisions, as well as providing support to the Presiding Judge.
