    The HousekeepingManager brings joy to families at Great WolfLodge by acting as a core driver of front line efficiency andeffectiveness in the Housekeeping department. This leadership roleinspects facilities, recommends upgrades when needed, establishesworkflows, standard procedures, and quality control plans. TheManager oversees all housekeeping operations and pack members toensure guests have a worry-freestay.

    EssentialDuties &Responsibilities

    • Leadsand mentors housekeeping staff daily to ensure cleanlinessstandards and operational efficiencies are met orexceeded
    • Implements and manages inventoryprocesses through the assistance of the HousekeepingSupervisors
    • Drives, reviews and ensures propercompletion of and alignment to the work orderprocess
    • Assists Director in reviewing andaction planning related to NPS Scores and guest comments, as wellas follow up and resolution
    • Implements theDirector's financial strategy to manage budget and labor, operatingexpense forecasts
    • Leads and mentors directstaff and Housekeeping employees,including:
    • Housekeeping Supervisors and allPack Members to ensure proper staffing/budgeting levels aremaintained
    • Trains new Pack Members and ensurescontinued training and development of currentstaff
    • Manages and drives training anddevelopment of supervisors
    • Communicatesregularly with Housekeeping staff, setting expectations andalignment to Great Wolf values, and provides regular feedbackthrough inspections and daily stand-upmeetings
    • Ensures compliance and timelycompletion of the performance appraisal process; identifies keytalent and plans for development
    • Models andupholds the Great Wolf guest service standards ofexcellence
    • Ensures guest requests of theHousekeeping department are handled in a professional and timelymanner
    • Continuously raises the bar forHousekeeping guest service focus
    • Activelyparticipates in the Manager On DutyProgram
    • Addresses and resolves any guestconcerns as needed to ensure guestsatisfaction
    • Ensures daily, weekly, monthly,and annual safety and compliance standards are upheld andadvanced
    • Communicates with Director ofEngineering to ensure housekeeping areas meet fire chief and statefire inspector standards
    • Conducts and monitorsHazard Communications Programs twiceyearly
    • Investigates, reports and recordsinappropriate behavior by staff, guests or suspiciouspersons

    RequiredQualifications &Skills

    • High Schooldiploma or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 3years of experience in the Hospitality field, with at least 2 yearsin a supervisory position
    • Demonstratedknowledge and experience in labor managementscheduling
    • Demonstrated ability to lead diverseteams
    • Demonstrated analytical, planning, andchange implementation abilities
    • Demonstratedmanagement skills and abilities including conflict resolution,coaching, development, and teambuilding
    • Demonstrated ability to effectivelyresolve conflict
    • Ability to work flexibleschedule including nights, weekends, and/or Holidays asneeded
