    Travel Med-Surg/Telemetry RN Job Description

    eTeam Inc is seeking a travel nurse to provide medical-surgical and telemetry care in the Emergency Department holding float pool.

    Job Requirements:

    • Experience: 2 years of experience as an RN in med-surg or telemetry settings
    • Certifications: BLS, ACLS

    The ideal candidate will have strong skills in interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, and use of rapid response teams. They should also be proficient in colostomy care, feeding tube management, renal failure treatment, blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, heparin therapy insulin administration isolation precautions chest tube insertion cpap/biPAP high flow nasal cannula interpretation ABGs nasal cannula non-invasive airway management oral suctioning oxygen face masks portable oxygen tank tracheotomy management NIHSS IV insulin protocols pre/post hemodialysis access ports central line blood draw starting IVs CVA pre/post neuro surgery spinal cord injuries traumatic brain injury ortho trauma total joint replacements wound care/wound vac shift ratios target ratio MS/tele 1:
