- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure a safe work environment.
- Conduct self-inspection and required quality control tasks at the workstation.
- Carry out Preventive Maintenance on machinery and/or equipment used.
- Assist in training and development of personnel.
- Perform lower-level tasks when assigned.
- Execute additional duties as delegated by Supervision.
- Advanced skills in blueprint reading, mathematics, and technical areas.
- Use of standard inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.).

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
SUMMARY
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and efficiently operating multiple CNC machines while also being able to edit CNC programs for optimal performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and grasp design requirements including critical dimensions and tolerances.
- Determine and implement the best procedures, write and test programs, as well as set up and run CNC machining and/or turning centers to meet specified standards.
- Shape, sharpen, adjust tools, and set cutters to achieve required tolerances.
- Inspect own work thoroughly at each stage to maintain quality standards.
- Offer inventive machining, tooling, and fixturing solutions to reduce production costs and enhance quality.
- Aid in creating quotations for future projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in reading machine drawings.
- Ability to set necessary gauges to inspect parts accurately.
Lifting requirements:
Frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Lifting equipment is available and recommended.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
