- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Chainsaw operation.
- Scaling, trimming and preparing logs.
- Operating handheld data recording device.
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with working in a team-based environment.
- Prefer a candidate with previous experience as an equipment operator either in a log yard environment or at a logging operation
- Must be self motivated and organized
- Willingness to work in hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
- Must maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license
- Pay is Dependent on Experience

Baillie Lumber in Williamsport, PA is looking to add a Log Yard Technician to their team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join our growing team as a Log Yard Technician. The position's primary responsibilities include operating a front-end loader and knuckle boom to unload and load trucks as well as grading/scaling logs per company guidelines.
